Direct message the job poster from iO Associates Consultant | Contract R&D Engineering | iO Associates iO Associates are currently partnered with a company who specialise in advanced digital signal processing for satellite payloads and are looking for a freelance FPGA Engineer to join their engineering team.

Key Responsibilities: Contribute to the design and development of FPGA modules using VHDL or Verilog Support the implementation and optimisation of digital signal processing algorithms Participate in simulation, verification, and integration activities Collaborate with electronics, software, and systems engineers across the development cycle Prepare and maintain technical documentation related to design and testing Your Profile: Experience in FPGA design and development using VHDL or Verilog Background in digital signal processing (implementation, simulation, or optimisation) Exposure to FPGA platforms such as Xilinx MPSoC, RFSoC, or comparable technologies Knowledge of tools or languages such as MATLAB/Simulink, embedded C/C++, or similar Understanding of SoC architectures, real time systems, or embedded processing Strong communication skills in English or German (both are desirable) This role offers flexible hours, the chance to work on innovative aerospace and satellite technology projects, and the opportunity to contribute to meaningful, mission driven engineering within a fast moving, multidisciplinary team.
