Expert – Pharma Equipment Management & Maintenance (m/f/d)
Freelance | remote (some on-site days in Ghana) | May 2026 – March 2027 (total of 28 days)
We are looking for an independent expert to deliver a defined work package on “Pharma Equipment Management and Maintenance” as part of an international development project.
Scope of Work
• Preparation and delivery of training sessions (on-site in Ghana)
Delivery of
• Theoretical training
• Practical exercises (e.g. inventory systems, maintenance workflows)
• Optional on-site mentoring at participating companies
• Follow-up remote mentoring sessions
• Preparation of training materials
• Documentation and reporting
Training Content (must be covered)
• Equipment Management & Maintenance
• Inventory and Stock Management
• Planned Preventive Maintenance
• Corrective Maintenance
• Workshop ManagementProtocols & Reporting
• Calibration Records
• Staff Qualification Records
• Digital support systems (e.g.
CMMS, inventory systems, QR-based tracking)
Minimum Requirements (mandatory – exclusion criteria)
• Degree or certification in a relevant field, e.g.:
• Biomedical Engineering
• Pharmacy
• Medical Equipment Technology
• Industrial / Production-related disciplines
• Minimum 3 years of professional experience in Equipment management and/or maintenance
Project Setup
• Training format:
• Remote mentoring sessions
• Travel & accommodation organized separately
