Azure BI Developer – Remote

For a client in Greater Copenhagen we are looking for an Azure BI Developer for an exciting remote assignment.

Core Skills and Scope of Work

• Highly experienced with Microsoft SQL Server database development/T-SQL (or any other)
• Experience with building data pipelines and developing data transformations resulting in working ELT/ETL process (bonus if in Data Factory, Apache Spark or Databricks)
• DWH and dimensional data modelling knowledge following industry best‑practises (Kimball, Inmon..)
• Good working knowledge of BI project life‑cycle and general concepts, and being able to translate business requirements into technical requirements
• Ability to use PowerDesigner (or similar) - understanding how to create ER diagrams, data models and business process schemas
• Knowledge of DevOps concepts and CI/CD, experience with working in Agile environments
• General knowledge of MS Azure core functionalities and services supporting BI development - Azure Data Factory, Databricks, Azure SQL
• Experience developing DAX, tabular models and PowerBI reports (good to have)
• Experience with SSAS, SSIS, SSRS stack, or their MS Azure counterparts
