b Freelance Procurement Director - Pharmaceuticals - 12-Month Contract - Stein, Switzerland br/ br/ /b A global pharmaceutical company require an experienced Procurement Director to lead the function on a major project. br/ br/ Reporting into the Global Procurement Team, this individual will be responsible for managing the procurement for a highly complex CAPEX project with corporate organisational interface and alignment of global and local standards.br/ b br/ br/ Responsibilities: br/ /b li Lead the commercial evaluation and advice on incoming bids ( EPCM, equipment, Engineering suppliers). /li li Internal alignment with internal stakeholders (e.g.) legal, SME’s and finance. /li li Act as escalation point on ongoing pending suppliers. /li li Support the technical SME in commercial questions. /li li Emphasising proactive, systematic approach to detect and avert delays to contractual milestones agreed upon. /li li Participation in project meetings to provide updates and status of documents submittals. /li li Ensure that updates are provided to all relevant stakeholders on any initiated mitigations on catch-up and improvements. /li li Review status reports for any potential problems and initiate mitigating actions for potential risk areas. /li li Visits field/suppliers on a regular basis, aligns with engineering and other stakeholders for actual status and progress (and get a view behind scene) throughout the project. /li li Reporting and updates on own packages. /li li Make and drive some RFQ’s (strategy, Tender, Evaluations negotiations and contracting) on client’s own contracts. /li li Meticulous file keeper, lead a procurement team and associated support functions using the RFQ tool used by the project. /li b Requirements: /b br/ li Demonstrated ability to recognise opportunities, strongly influence the setting of direction and exceed expectations on deliverables. /li li Prior experience with controllership, product costing, and data stewardship /li li Technical proficiency with MS Excel, MS Word, MS PowerPoint, and SAP. /li li Excellent communication/facilitation and influencing skills. /li li Project Management skills /li li Analytical and organisational skills /li li Project planning and implementation skills /li li Overall manufacturing business knowledge /li li Demonstrated commercial skills /li li Experience delivering capital projects $million /li li Degree level of education in Procurement, Engineering, Manufacturing, Supply Chain Business related field or Degree level education in any discipline with relevant experience /li li Exemplification of high integrity, fiscal responsibility, and business ownership. /li li Fluent in English and German /li br/ b If this role is of interest to you, please apply now! /b
