Role: Freelance Electrical & Instrumentation Engineer
Contract Length: 2 years
Project Type: Utility-Scale Solar PV / High Voltage Substation
Languages: Fluent English (German is a strong advantage)
Start Date: Q4 2025
Key Responsibilities
• Provide engineering oversight and technical leadership for E&I systems within the solar farm and high-voltage substation
• Develop, review, and validate electrical & instrumentation drawings, including loop diagrams, cable routing, termination, and control system layouts
• Support installation, FAT/SAT, and commissioning activities on-site
• Ensure compliance with IEC standards, German electrical codes, and grid connection requirements
• Coordinate with EPC contractors, component suppliers, and other engineering disciplines
• Provide technical documentation, inspection reports, and progress updates
• Troubleshoot and resolve E&I issues during construction and commissioning phases
• Ensure compliance with HSE standards and project-specific QA/QC plans
