Technical SEO Specialist – Freelance

Responsibilities • Implement on-page SEO across 30+ country sites: title tags, meta descriptions, headings, internal linking • Manage and ship technical SEO tickets in our project management system, working alongside the IT and development teams • Schema markup, structured data, and rich result implementation (Product, Review, Organization, Breadcrumb, FAQ) • Hreflang corrections, international SEO debugging, ccTLD and subdomain consistency • Sitemap, canonical, robots.txt, and indexation hygiene across all market versions • Core Web Vitals tactical improvements (image optimisation, lazy loading, render-blocking) • Redirect mapping and post-launch QA for migrations and category changes • Daily Search Console monitoring, surfacing crawl errors, indexation drops, and ranking issues • Localisation QA on SEO elements across translations • Light keyword research and content briefing support where required Requirements • At least 3 years hands‑on technical SEO experience, ideally in an e-commerce or agency environment • Strong command of Google Search Console, GA4, Screaming Frog, Ahrefs or Semrush • Comfortable with HTML, CSS, JSON-LD schema, and regex • Experience with multi-region and multi-language sites is a strong plus (hreflang, ccTLDs, subdomains) • Comfortable working tickets in Jira, Asana, or similar project management tools • Reliable, organised, and ships on time • Excellent written communication • Native or fluent English • Self‑motivated remote worker with a stable connection • Bonus: WordPress/ Elementor, Shopify, or custom CMS experience; product feed and Merchant Center exposure Hard Skills • technical SEO • on-page SEO • schema markup • structured data • Hreflang • HTML • CSS • JSON-LD • regex • keyword research Soft Skills • reliable • organised • excellent written communication • self-motivated • time management Industry Keywords • e-commerce • multi-region • multi-language • ccTLD • subdomains • localisation QA • Core Web Vitals • crawl errors • indexation • Merchant Center Tools & Technologies • Google Search Console • GA4 • Screaming Frog • Ahrefs • Semrush • Jira • Asana • WordPress • Elementor • Shopify
