This is a hands-on role with strong ownership across Controlling processes within a complex S/4HANA implementation.

What you’ll be doing:
• Taking technical ownership of SAP CO processes within an S/4HANA programme
• Acting as a key sparring partner to internal stakeholders and SAP consultants
• Coordinating requirements across Finance, Accounting, and project teams
• Supporting testing phases (system & UAT), as well as go-live and hypercare
• Driving data migration, cutover activities, and issue resolution
• Improving and standardising controlling processes based on SAP best practices
• Training and enabling end users on new processes
What we’re looking for:
• 8+ years experience in SAP FI/CO, with deep focus on CO
• Strong S/4HANA expertise and hands‑on delivery experience
• Solid knowledge of cost centre accounting, profit centre accounting, and margin analysis
• Experience with ACDOCA / Universal Journal and FI-CO integration
• Exposure to WBS/project controlling structures
• Proven experience in data migration, cutover, and go‑live phases
• Strong stakeholder management skills and ability to challenge when needed
• German (fluent) and English (professional)
• Start: ASAP (latest 3rd August)
• Duration: 6 months+
• Workload: Full-time (3 days onsite / 2 remote)
• Location: Southern Germany I’m currently supporting a key client in Southern Germany on an S/4HANA transformation and looking for an experienced SAP CO Consultant to join on a freelance basis.
