Responsibilities System configuration: creation, maintenance, and expansion of NixOS configurations for servers, containers, and desktops.
Cluster management: orchestrate multi‑node deployments and configuration distribution. DevOps & CI/CD: build and maintain pipelines. Cloud & virtualization: provision and manage infrastructure in cloud environments. Monitoring & security: integrate DevSecOps aspects. Must‑Haves Deep understanding of NixOS and Nix package manager.
Experience with declarative systems such as Colmena, NixOps, Terranix. Knowledge of Terraform, cloud platforms (OpenStack, AWS), container technologies (Docker, Kubernetes). Strong programming and scripting in Nix, Bash, Python. Experience with CI/CD tools, monitoring systems. Fluent German (written and spoken). Desired Skills and Experience Nix
