The courses prepare international students for entry into English-taught Bachelor programs and equip them with strong business-oriented language skills. We are looking for instructors who are passionate about teaching English in a business and academic context, and who are comfortable working with a diverse, international student body.

Key Responsibilities • Deliver engaging and effective English instruction with a focus on business contexts • Teach core areas including grammar, academic and professional vocabulary, communication skills, and academic writing • ntegrate business-related topics such as project management, emotional intelligence, international trade, and business plans into lessons • Prepare students for the FSP exam, internal university admission tests, and transition to Bachelor-level studies • Design and conduct formative assessments and a final exam • Track attendance and support academic progress • Collaborate closely with the Studienkolleg program management team Position Details Two freelance positions are available: • 6 SWS (Semesterwochenstunden – approx. 6 teaching hours/week) • 12 SWS (approx. 12 teaching hours/week) Teaching Format: • Fully in-person instruction required (on campus in Iserlohn) Your profile • Proven teaching experience in English, ideally in a foundation year, Studienkolleg, or higher education setting • Experience teaching international student groups • Excellent proficiency in English • Master’s degree in English, Education, TESOL, or a related field (M.Ed. preferred) Why us? • An open-ended framework contract as an external freelance lecturer • A varied, innovative and international working environment in collaboration with partner universities and cooperation partners • The chance to develop personally and professionally Application Process If you are passionate about teaching English with a business and academic focus and enjoy working in a diverse, international learning environment, we would be pleased to receive your application.
