Your mission
We are looking for an ERP Finance Consultant (Freelance) to support the finance workstream during a critical ERP implementation and go-live phase.
• Type: Freelance
• Location: Remote / Hybrid
• Duration: 3-4 months (extension possible)
• Commitment: minimum 30 hours per week
• Start: immediately
Responsibilities
• Lead the finance-related ERP setup and configuration within Odoo
• Configure the accounting environment and ensure compliance with accounting requirements
• Set up and validate accounts, rules, settings and structures
• Execute and validate clean extraction, mapping, and successful data transfer/migration of financial data from DATEV (and Moss) into Odoo, ensuring zero data loss and flawless opening balances
• Design and implement dual accounting structures (HGB, IFRS, US GAAP)
• Test and validate financial transactions and reporting accuracy before the go-live
• Support the ERP go-live activities from a finance perspective
• Provide knowledge transfer and documentation to internal stakeholders
Your profile
• Several years of experience implementing finance ERP systems, including go-live support
• Hands-on experience with Odoo ERP is strongly preferred
• Deep knowledge of core accounting and financial reporting processes
• Proven experience supporting ERP go-live projects, ideally in a start-up environment
• Familiar with setting up HGB and IFRS / US GAAP accounting standards
• Excellent communication skills in English, German is a plus
